Where are your products manufactured?
Every Oakland Outdoors product is handcrafted in our dedicated workshop in Essex by our experienced joiners. From premium gates and fencing to bespoke joinery and outdoor living products, everything is manufactured in-house to ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

What timber do you use?
We regularly manufacture using both premium softwoods and hardwoods, depending on the product and your individual requirements.
Whether you’re looking for an affordable softwood gate or a premium hardwood entrance gate, we’ll be happy to recommend the most suitable timber for your project, budget and desired finish.

Do you offer timber finishes?
Yes.
We offer a range of professional finishing options to protect and enhance the natural beauty of our timber products.
Our softwood gates can be supplied either untreated or finished in a selection of premium exterior oil-based wood stains. These stains enrich the natural grain while providing long-lasting protection against moisture, UV exposure and the elements. A range of stain colours is available to complement both traditional and contemporary properties.
For our hardwood products, we also offer a premium Osmo UV Protection Oil finish. This specialist treatment helps reduce the effects of UV exposure, slowing the natural greying process while nourishing and protecting the timber. It’s the ideal choice for customers wishing to preserve the rich colour and character of their hardwood gate for longer.
